Hey friends! Welcome to Season Two of the New Age Tour Guide podcast! This season I’m intentional about one thing, “I want to connect with those who have a goal of living with more lightness, more peace and more joy.”
Main episode starts at the 5:30 marker.
.
When I found this term about four years ago, I knew it was going to be a keeper for me. I also knew it was going to go on a business card at some point in my future.
I am an “apocaloptimist”!
And, what I’ve learned is that most people who can identify with this one word, which means that we know it’s all going to shit and still believe it’s going to turn out ok, well, we are more willing than we are woke.
I’d like to say that apocaloptimists aren’t woke at all, but that would be woke. I think we are just increasingly more willing to take positive, aligned personal action in the direction that we want this ‘new age’ to unfold.
On the other hand, the ‘woke’ are using more of their energy in (unconsciously) destructive ways or genuinely believe that are awake to the truth of what’s unfolding in our world right now, when really they are still caught up in The Matrix of the media, the marketing and the high-profile messengers.
For the willing, what we HOPE will happen has a direct impact on our actions. In that sense, hope is our core strategy. It helps us determine what not to do and…what TO do.
.
.
The frequency of WILLINGNESS means we are starting to use our energy more creatively and taking aligned action. But, it starts with simply being willing to allow that the media, the marketing and the messengers are not truth-tellers, at best, it might be four lies and a truth.
Now, if that has you tuning out then it doesn’t really matter what else is in this episode, but I’ll share a few key things for those who are more willing than woke.
.
In this episode:
How to know if you’re willing or ‘woke’.
How to find hope as an apocaloptimist.
How to activate the power of our will to take aligned action and create a new age that gives us hope.
